How do the successful internet entrepreneurs manage to post to blogs, do all the social medias, develop new products, go to seminars, do coaching, product launches, write e books and articles when I don’t seem capable of even staying updated on the tasks Alex has given us ? Of course they are full time and not sitting down in front of the computer at 9 pm when the rest of the family is either in bed or watchnig TV. Nevertheless, some internet marketers seem very prolific and can’t be doing everything on their own. Their secret is of course outsourcing.

It’s sunday night, the week end has gone by so quicky: I had planned to get a lot done, but didn’t quite manage to stick to my schedule. I try also to do thing when they present themselves, otherwise I forget. Today, Jim Gallagher invited me to join a traffic generation project on JV Village. It made me think that I really need to do something about traffic generation because I hardly have any visits on my blog, just some fellow students. I’ve finally got a hang on Google Analytics today because I set my mind on finally finding out how this thing works: it’s not so complicated. But it the fact is that it showed me that my traffic situation is catastophic.

I also went to Joe Greens blog, he has a tool to check your google page rang: it goes from 0 to 10. Mine is at 0.

So, this being said, I will have to find time to implement some strategies. I’ll keep you updated.

Hello everybody! I must be one of the last of Alex Jeffreys students to finally come out of anonymity. I am a complete newbie and starting on internet is for me like learning chinese. I am so far behind that my only possiblility to stand out is to make this an advantage.

If somebody like me:  mother of three children, working more than fulltime managing 2 businesses with 9 employees and without any previous experience of internet nor even of computers is able, with Alex Jeffreys and my fellow students help, to put up a website, a blog and build a list, then anybody can. I neither have the time nor the skills but I am fiercly determined to succeed.

My path to the internet business has been long and tortuous but I find it absolutly fascinating and making a living on the web has become my passion.

Of course I sometimes feel paniked when I think of everything I still need to learn and to do, but on the other side, every new step I take is a victory and a source of joy.

I want to thank fellow student Robert Walker for helping me with one of my issues (using the wiki he created). In fact, I have lost a lot of time making a lot of mistakes, twice the problem came from not uploading correctly the files in the ftp. Dumb thing but I lost several hours. Then my blog wouldn’t appear, after fretting about and posting tickets, it seems that the problem was just that it took over 48 hours for the DNS to spread. And I discovered “pagewash.com”, it is a proxy (whatever that is?) that picks up your site almost immediatly so I could start my blog that way. This site also allows you to browse the net without leaving any trace! I didn’t know that was possible. That’s another thing I learned.

Obviously, I now need to work on my blog. It doesn’t look very good for the moment. In fact this blog is done with the Free SEO optimized blog package that Jeff Johnson has put together. I received a mail about this free product with a lo of testimonial as how awsome it is. As it arrived just as I was about to create my new blog, I decided to give it a try. As I am so far behind everybody else, I thought it might help me to speed up my ranking in google. This is a test. In case it is as good as promised, you can all install this product on your blogs. It seems it is easier to start a new blog but it is possible to put it on an existing blog.

Well, we will see how things go before I recommend you to do so.

Now I have to “hop around” my fellow students blogs to tell them I am finally joining!!!
