How I apply my new knowledge to my current business

Home

It’s been a while since my last post but I have not been idle. So what have I been doing? Well I wonder where the hours just disappear?

Well as I have been very busy lately and I seem to always get interrupted by the phone, by a meeting I need to attend, by the kids that need help and so on, I have not been able to work on a bigger project that I have which is a little frustrating. But I try to get as organized as I can to get more thing done.

So last sunday I reorganized my files on my computer in order to put up a system so I can easily see what ressources I have. I have downloaded so many files and all kind of softwares that I don’t even know what I have anymore and I have transfered all the webinars replays and other audio ressources onto my MP3 player I ordered from Santa Claus.

And I always bring it with me: I am now listening to Tellman, Yanick Silver and other gurus while washing dishes, driving to a meeting or sitting in a waiting room… I have learned quite a few thing this way.

Sometimes, I play the MP3 while reading my emails and doing paperwork in my office. All at the same time… I sometimes wished I could keep the earphones on my head while sleeping and go on listening. I would like to learn everything there is to know.

I listened today to a webinar replay about traffic and learned that Google considers each post as a web page on its one and that the title is very important because it gets picked up by the spiders. This is why you should post evey day if possible.

So I just must get into the habit of posting more often.

I have been very busy managing my fitness clubs and also trying to sell the business. I have some people that seem interested but nothing is done yet and in the meantime I need to take care of the day to day business and GET MORE CLIENTS.  This is why I am putting into practice some of my new knowledge to change my marketing tactics.

I have no more money to pay for expensive adds so I am trying new ideas. I discovered that many of my clients are on Facebook it is very popular in France also. So I have created a Group on Facebook and have posted pictures and videos.

Since we have been talking a lot about the power of videos in this course, I took my camera to the club and filmed some testimonials from my clients. They are great. I want to upload them to YouTube to get more backlinks to the site I have (my husband put it up for me a few months ago ans I SEO it as best I could. In fact you can say that this is how my interest for internet business awoke).

I just need to find a way to watermark these videos or to put the url at the end of the videos to get more traffic.

I will take this opportunity to thank Vince Crane for the Camstudio. I think it is possible to do this with his software. It is an awsome gift. I downloaded it yesterday but I am ashamed to say I haven’t thanked him yet. As soon as I finish this post, I will go to his site and thank him.

Tomorrow I am going to do some more short videos showing different fitness exercices and upload them to different video sites using Traffic Mogul or maybe try Traffic Geyser. I haven’t decided yet.

I am very impatient to see if this will make a big difference and improuve the ranking of my site. That way I could stop the Google Ads.

Well,  I’ll hopp around to Vinceland and then I ‘ll better catch some sleep!

Page rank

Home

It’s sunday night, the week end has gone by so quicky: I had planned to get a lot done, but didn’t quite manage to stick to my schedule. I try also to do thing when they present themselves, otherwise I forget. Today, Jim Gallagher invited me to join a traffic generation project on JV Village. It made me think that I really need to do something about traffic generation because I hardly have any visits on my blog, just some fellow students. I’ve finally got a hang on Google Analytics today because I set my mind on finally finding out how this thing works: it’s not so complicated. But it the fact is that it showed me that my traffic situation is catastophic.

I also went to Joe Greens blog, he has a tool to check your google page rang: it goes from 0 to 10. Mine is at 0.

If you want to test your page rank, use this tool, it can’t be worse than mine:

Check Page Rank of any web site pages instantly:
This free page rank checking tool is powered by Page Rank Checker service

So, this being said, I will have to find time to implement some strategies. I’ll keep you updated.

Step by step

When I started out on this journey I never thought there would be so many things to learn. I feel I spend hours in front of my computer and I never manage to do everything I have on my to do list. Of course it is largely due to the fact that I have 2 off line businesses to manage and 3 kids. Another reason I must admit is that mails

Notice to all established or to be internet marketers

Home

The first week in January will see the launch of the second edition of the ‘Profit Pulling Project’ Newsletter writen by some of the most active of Alex Jeffreys students. The first edition was a rip-roaring success. Many established internet marketers with their own lists used the viral re-branding option to ’stamp’ their own name and website throughout the ebook. This ensured a confirmed circulation of 1,000’s.
Grab your copies of the two first editions and use them before they get too widespread all over the net., or before the incredible success of this new sort of Newsletter pushes Garry Parkes & co to put a high ticket on it!
